You could try trace-logging for papyrus errors on the saves that will not load for a clue to what might be causing your CTD. To enable trace-logging, change the following lines in Skyrim.ini to "1", as shown:

[Papyrus]
bEnableLogging = 1
bEnableTrace = 1
bLoadDebugInformation = 1

To find your logs, use Windows Explorer to navigate to your C:\Users\[YOUR USER NAME HERE]\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Logs\Script\Papyrus.0.log

You could then post this log in a spoiler post, someone with log reading skills may be able to decipher which mod(s) may be fitful.

One must be aware that some mods will have data that is baked into a save. There is nothing to do for these, both Save Tool and Scalpel describe this failing.

Good luck.

"I do get that dialogue actually yes"

Ok here's what you do. Download Wrye Bash and Install.

Go to the "save" tab. The latest save game that's crashing will be RED. (Stable save games will be purple). Scroll through the list to find out what file is missing. It will be a file without a checkbox next to it. Reinstall that file and continue your game.

I did that and it's not red anymore, but it still CTD

Yes OP said he used that util already. I'm kind of stumped. Not sure how you could still be crashing.

I think I already suggested this but one way I stopped a chronic CTD problem was to deactivate one mod by mod until I didn't crash. Once I found the mod that was causing the crash I deleted it and that was the end of that problem.

If you are sure you have cleaned up all ENB files try this "game save cleaner"

yes as vram1974 said yes I've already tried that tool, looks promising but it sadly didn't help :sad:

I'll start again and deactivate mods one by one. Thank you good sir.
