D3l7a3ch0
I'm looking for a workflow guide for adding completely new models to the game. I'm a budding 3D modelling student, and I'd like to use Fallout 3 NV as a project to take an asset from scratch to working in-game. I'm picking Fallout NV because I've been a long time fan of the Fallout series, and I currently have a save game on my Playstation 3 that keeps crashing, so I know there's still quite a bit of enjoyment still to be had. I recently purchased Fallout NV Ultimate Edition for PC. As an artist, gamer, and 3D modelling student, I think this will be a great combination of my interests. So far I have found nifskope and the nif plugin for Maya, but I also saw a comment that the Maya plugin no longer works. I'm familiar with other 3D and 2D tools, and am willing to learn new ones for the sake of this workflow. I've searched for a complete workflow guide but couldn't find one. If I can be pointed in the right direction that would be great. This model is the first thing I'd like to add to Fallout NV, textured as Zero Suit Samus. http://i.imgur.com/m7pcSgj.png http://i.imgur.com/brI6gPc.png http://i.imgur.com/cgu2MYQ.png That is a basic, generic model I've worked on for a while, and I've never altered / customized her as anyone in particular. I'd like to do that now, in the style of the Max Factory Samus figure (which I own, I highly recommend her) http://i.imgur.com/h8enxkV.png http://i.imgur.com/W9KDQ2D.png If you'd like to see more of my work as an artist, look up this username at hentai-foundry. Very NSFW and if you're not accustomed to hentai, also NSFL. I have been site staff there for quite a few years.
