Gaining weight when I sell snowglobes

Something didn't seem right when I became encumbered after selling two snowglobes, so I just tested this by selling the test site snowglobe, and I gained 2 pounds in weight without (as far as I can tell) getting anything new in my inventory. On a prior occasion my total carrying capacity appears to have dropped as well. Has anyone else experienced something like this? I have the latest patch (v1.2.0.314); it might have something to do with a mod am I using called Game Settings Tuner mod (http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=39157), specifically the features regarding armor weight (I am using "equipped armor weighs half" option) - other than that, I also have the XFO chem, ammo and cap rarity mods, a mod to to be able to drop Motor-Runner's helmet, and my own mod that makes some minor tweaks to headshot damage and crippled leg movement rates, but I don't see how they could be the culprits. EDIT - oh, I also have the weight rebalance option selected in Game Settings Tuner, which might have something to do with it. I've tried fiddling with all the settings but to no avail.

2nd EDIT: Okay, I feel silly now. The extra weight was the 2000 caps, which I assume are given a wait of 0.01 by the weight rebalance setting. Makes sense. I did however determine that that my base carrying capacity has decreased by 7 (FWE default base 50 plus 25 per strength should add up to 150 for my character), but I guess that can probably be fixed by a console command

phantom weight accrues in this game

and nobody seems to notice it.

Drop everything and see what your weight is.

BTW ED-e's weight crawls up too.

there doesn't seem to be a console command to set your encumbered weight back to 0

but there is a console command to add carry capacity.

Thanks for the reply. I dropped everything and my weight was zero, so luckily I don't have that problem - yet =P The console command is "player.modav carryweight 7" correct? Hopefully that works, I haven't been able to use other console commands for some reason (hence the need for the fix mod for motor-runner's helmet)
