majikmonkee
I got tired of having to move my Oblivion game folders every time I wanted to take screenshots or install a new mod, so I went through the process of relocating all of my game files to a new directory that is not protected and redirecting my shortcuts. I launched with OBSE and everything worked fine, the game booted up and everything. However, it didn't take me very long to realize everything was NOT as it should be. The first time I dropped out to third person view while feeding as a vampire...(beware, partial nudity with black box added...) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v616/majik_monkee/general/ScreenShotx.jpg I did some looking and eventually realized that my BAB customer clothes are not showing up, underwear included, however, the body I'm seeing without the clothes is the BAB body, so BAB seems to be working to some degree still, but where the he!! are my clothes? Not sure how moving a folder causes this to happen, but when I moved the folders to the default directory again, they all came back. Thoughts? Wordsmith
Archive invalidation entry with an absolute path not a relative one?or for that matter ANY pointer that does that. Check ini file entries anyway for anything starting "c:\Program files..."Also check OBSE / OBGE entries if they are installed, and the install path for OBMM and Wrye Bash wil have changed... I gave up, and installed from scratch in a new place when I realised what a pain UAC was going to be. And then spent half-an-hour telling my antivirus NOT to scan those processes in real time which brought my frame rate back up - I'd forgotten I'd had to do that before. majikmonkee
Sounds pretty complicated. =) I might take a stab at fixing this based on what you've told me (I've since also found a tutorial of sorts on moving your folders, not sure if it will work), but if it gets to be too complex, I may just force myself to live with the folders in the default directory. That would mean never being able to take any pictures with the BAB clothes on though...at least not where you can see the actual clothes (I'm not interested in having my character be known as the "nude night stalker of Cyrodiil")...
