HELP! I ned advice on placing objects.

Hi all. TY for taking time to read and possibly help.

Basically i've never really worked out how to place items on tables and plates and stuff. I've heard about it seen it in screenshots and i just dont know how to do it. :(

Can you help me?

I will be very grateful to anyone who does. :D

I take it your playing on the PC? By default, you can move objects by holding the Z key. It's not very easy to place things exactly the way you want though. But practice makes perfect! ;)

In addition to the Z key, you can also hold Y or X while dragging the object with the mouse. Z (plus the mouse) moves it up and down only, X and Y move it back and forwards, side to side, respectively. Once you have an object over a surface or plane (such as a floor or table), press F to make it fall to that plane.

This is general oblivion, not oblivion modifications. He was asking to place objects while playing I think. ;)

Or the thread is in the wrong place :rolleyes:

Did you know you can also hold ctrl+alt while moving items in the Construction Set to be able to drag it the way you do while playing? Might be useful for positioning corpses. :)
