Chrisfo3
Hey guys, gonna get right to the chase, this whole mod stuff is completely new to me. I have spent the better part of 2 days trying to figure this all out and I am almost done except when I did the part in FO3 Edit where it compiles all your files and makes sure everythig is where it needs to be, it said loader finished WITH no errors. Problem is when I right click the left column to bring up the Merge patch open, I get nothing, any ideas what I am doing wrong? Thanks
miax
The training manual that I wrote for Fo3Edit can be found Here on Nexus. Good luck, let us know if you have any questions! Miax

Chrisfo3
Ok I read the manuals, least the parts I could understand without overwhelming myself lol, and I finally created my first merged patch for FO3. As far as editing the data like the modules that have conflicts with one another...well I am not ready to do that advanced editing just yet. One thing I could not find or perhaps very likely I missed was now that I know how to create from folders a FOMOD and load order list and all that, how do I create another load list with totally different mods in it to experiment on what I like depending on my gamestyle? I fiddled with the FOMM to see if I could create another list, but im afraid to do anything to mess up my current load order lol. So how do I go about creating another load list. miax
You'll need a FOMM tutorial for that. :) I haven't messed around much with FoMods unfrotunately, hopefully someone else here knows of a tutorial on how to do that. Luck!! Miax
Chrisfo3
Ok thanks, I will do a search on Fomm tutorial and see what I come up with, in the meantime, if anyone can suggest anything, would be greatly appreciated!
