Unusually long reach

Just read the batch file: it is for generating bugdumps. As I said, Wrye Bash 291 starts just the same as any previous version of Wrye Bash.

I've got nothing, it's pulling the same crap as when 270 went dead, no reason, just failed all of the sudden. I think it might have something to do with the "Put a directory on PYTHONPATH here" Folder, I've got no clue what the hell that error was about, but there were four python folders in C:\ including the pythonpath folder along with python 25 - 27 so maybe wryebash is confused as to which python it should use, although python includes a great deal centered around python 26... *sigh* I've got nothing. I just want to be able to run bashed patches...

EDIT: Something I noticed, I still have pyFFI from an older mod requisite, would this conflict or cause problems?

Please see the instructions I pasted into the spoiler tag earlier, and remove ALL traces of Python, then re-download the WryePython 3a and Wrye Bash 291 (only those two) and run them (Wrye Python first). That will install both. But BEFORE you try to run Wrye Bash, check your \Oblivion\mopy\ folder. If there is a pidfile.tmp file in there, delete it.

I don't think constantly reinstalling python is actually solving anything, I've gone through my system, the only python installed is 2.6. And even then, Python is on 3.1 at least, if not greater by now, this isn't resolving any problems...

Something is amiss. You said:

but there were four python folders in C:\

True, and I deleted them, except for python 2.6, which had a couple redundant extensions, which I uninstalled, and I reinstalled PyFFI which also works with my Maya program. It still will not launch, so there must be something specifically causing the problem.

The MOBS mod might be able to fix it, if you don't already have it:

http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28537

This basically changes all of vanilla Oblivion's weapons' reach lengths to make them seem more realistic. I'm not entirely sure it will help you out in this case, but you can give it a try if you want.

Oh? I'll look into this, the problem was pseudo resolved earlier, this is just a long thread working through my problems... But I like the idea behind this too.

I've heard about a Mod that gives you a huge reach, did you accidently download that by any chance..?

Grovatron (L) gives long reach. My game didn't reset so I now have the same problem as you. The place I'm going to look is: check the grovatron reset.

Ok, I recently read a thread (don't remember it's name) about Deadly Reflex 6 causing this problem if you have Coronerra's skeletons installed. Apparently, DR6 requires special skeletons.

Oh! that would make sense, actually if DR uses special skeletons, and so does Curse of Hursine resurrected, then that could cause a similar glitch.
