Raella69
Ok, so I just used the beta thing for FOMM to sort out load order, and I'm not sure what it did, or if it was the problem, but now whenever I go to my Weapons Tab in my Pipboy my game crashes. It's kind of hard to play a crashed game. Anyone know what to do? Here is my load order: Edited January 28, 2011 by Raella69
asdfzxc
I don't have the time to go through the whole thing, but you might have to do some manual sorting. Basically: Try to organize things a little better - put similar mods together and so on. It'll make the next step easier.Once you've done that, go through and look for any mods that might overlap or overwrite each other. If you find any, disable one or more of the offending files until the overlap is gone.If you're not sure if there's a conflict, right-click the two files in FOMM and open them up with TESsnip. Look for any identical entries. Test it, see if it still crashes. If it doesn't, good for you.If it does still crash, go through and try disabling a few of the more complex mods.Test it again. If it still crashes, go back up to step 5. Raella69
Yeah, I really don't know too much about this stuff, so I will have no way of telling what mods are in conflict with another. FML.
asdfzxc
Yeah, I really don't know too much about this stuff, so I will have no way of telling what mods are in conflict with another. FML.To check if there's a conflict, you can either use the conflict detection in FNVEdit (not recommended for this - while it is highly useful for advanced users, it's a bit difficult to use for noobs) or you can check with FOMM. To check with FOMM, right-click a file from the load order list and select "Open in TESsnip". The window that opens up shows a bunch of categories on the left-hand side, expand those and it'll list everything the mod alters or adds. Now do the same with another mod that you think might be in conflict, and compare the lists to see if they both alter the same thing. In general, if you know that there's two mods that change the same things (for example, those XFO mods and some of those IWS mods) you should pick one and disable all of the rest. I honestly don't know what half the mods in your load order do, myself, so I can't give you any specifics.
