The Unwelcome Winter Wonderland

So, I'm currently making a mod of an island and a wizards tower in the Jerall Mountains. My problem is that in the mountain tower I have some fake exteriors inside with custom weather that is different from the outside (for that warm inviting mini-forest that every mage needs), but when I load the interior it's snowing! The weather is supposed to be a copy of the Camoran Paradise climate (with a proper day/night) but it's just not working. :c

I have Natural Environments loaded, but it's not the problem, I unchecked it and loaded the game to make sure.

So does anyone know how to make an Interior act like an Exterior with the weather climate that I've specified? Because if I wanted a winter wonderland I would have made this garden outside :c

Here's a pretty picture of the outside of the tower as some sort of incentive :3 [link]

OK, under the lighting settings for an Interior Cell is a section to choose "behave like exterior" and an option for setting the climate.

See here.

Though it does sound to me like you've already done that part...

Have you tried the following?

ResetInterior CellName

Or waited long enough outside the cell to reset itself?

Hmm, I'll have to try that one. I did wait for a bit but I don't think I waited long enough.

Thank you for replying! I've been tearing my hair out trying to fix this.

Still not working, I even tried a new game, the weather worked until I waited inside the cell and then it went all frosty on me again. :<

Well, the only thing I can suggest is that you verify that your climate/weather settings are properly set up to provide a specific result. Things to look out for are the volatility settings (too high can create variations that aren't desired) and make sure that if you want a constant setting that you apply it to all periods of the day/night cycle or long enough to cover each cycle you want covered. Check your weather %'s under the climate and make sure it adds up to 100%.

Well, I could go on, but just double-check that your climate and weather settings have been set up correctly. Post a screenshot maybe of your climate screen and the weather screen(s)?

BTW, did you copy the Camoran climate or the Camoran weather into a custom climate?

Can you provide a screenshot of the Lighting tab on the interior?

I copied the Camoran Weather and put it into a copy of the Clear Climate so it would have a proper day/night cycle.

Here are images of the Climate Window, Weather Window and even the Cell Lighting Window. As you can see the Volatility is zero and the Weather type is 100%. I haven't really tweaked much yet, I've just been trying to get it to work first :<

Based off those screenshots... I, for one, can't see anything you've done wrong... anyone else?

Only thing I'd suggest is going to the lighting tab for your interior cell and choosing "Camoran" or "DefaultClimate"(used in ICArena) and see if those work (to see if custom climates are your issue).

I tried that and it did the same thing as before :c

Oh hell, it was Natural Weather,I disabled all of it completely and now the weather works properly. >:C I tried this before!

I think it was playing Silly Buggers with me. Looks like I will have to add a compatibility note and Switch to All Natural. I still don't see how this didn't work even with the custom weather that's exactly why I copied the weather pattern into a custom one so it wouldn't rely on the originals >:C
