AtomicFire7
I followed the Fear and Loathing in New Vegas guide step by step and finally finished. However, when I try to load the game, no menus or mouse cursor appear. It's just blank with the ranger holding the pistol background. Any suggestions? DoctorKaizeld
did you run LOOT?
AtomicFire7
did you run LOOT?Yes sir! And I just saw in the overwrite files of Mod Organizer theres a folder called menus which expands to include options and main folders. They have uio files start menu, hud main menu, ect. I'm guessing this has something to do with it. Now, I'm wondering what to do with these files.

Idk if you're familiar with the STEP guide, but I did indeed follow that step for step.
DoctorKaizeld
yeah, some people still get mistakes through that guide. (not sure if it's the guide or the user) i learned to mod myself by sorta just figuring it out after hours of trial and error... and then found the Nexus after i figured it out and facepalmed hard enough i think i woke my neighbors. i just needed to ask because mod order is often the reason the menu wont load. okay can i have your load order. AtomicFire7
yeah, some people still get mistakes through that guide. I too used to just mod on my own and figure it out. However with New Vegas, it seems once one problem is solved another sprouts right back up. I gave up trying myself and figured I'd follow someone's specific directions hoping there would be no issues. I have been trying to mod this game for the past three years, mostly during the summers cause of school. I'm not saying I couldn't have made a mistake, but in order to prevent something like this occuring, I double and triple checked everything. I ran the game every few mods to make sure it was alright. It only stopped working today and I actually don't remember installing any mods today. The only thing I did was optimize textures and create a bashed patch. Or it could be FNVLODGen. I did do that yesterday but I didn't run the game afterwards. Disregard that first load order. That was after I messing around with things trying to figure out what's wrong. This new one is the LOOT order I have been using. EDIT- I honestly actually think what happened was when I ran LOOT and had it do my load order for me, it actually screwed everything up. That was one of the last steps on the checklist. And I'm starting to see mods way out of order from when I orginally installed them. I think it has something to do with DarnUI so I'm going back to guide and see where to place that and which mods come before it. I have tried and tried to move things around, disable mods, but no luck. I can confirm it is one of the mods though. I ran the vanilla launcher from steam and the game ran just fine.
