Dsurion21
I'm trying to add some music to the line-up of Oblivions and I have followed the instructions of every site with instructions how and the songs will not work. First I converted the songs i'm adding to MP3 format, added song to one of the music folders in this case 'Explore' then to make sure it worked I cut the base songs and added them to a back-up folder. I entered the game and loaded a save where Im in the wilderness and the opening them from the menu is still playing and repeats over and over. I then added a base song back in to make sure I diidn't screw anything up and it play perfectly, and repeated over and over. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong or give me a tip on how to get it to work? In case it's relevant, the song I'm trying to add is "Arthas my Son" from World of Warcraft. I would appreciate the help.
Hickory
The music folder structure must be:Data\Music\Battle\ (danger, battle)Data\Music\Dungeon\ (caves, forts, ruins)Data\Music\Explore\ (outside of towns)Data\Music\Public\ (towns, buildings)Data\Music\Special\ (These files must be named "death", "success" and "tes4title" as appropriate.) And the mp3 files should be 128 kbps. And please, do NOT resistribute your music files -- uploading them to the Nexus will get you banned.

xchargerfanx
The solution to adding music to pretty much any specific area: Better Music Systemhttp://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26892 This lets you customize music for combat, riding horses, the arena, guilds, houses, inns, and many other things. The installing and initializing procedure can be a little complicated, but be sure to fully read the readme.
