Snow instead of grass in Whiterun

SO, after spending almost a whole day trying to fix this, I decided to post a question on the forum in order to find the answer.

 

Long story short, it happens that most grass textures in Whiterun have been replaced with a generic-looking snow ones, even though I never installed any kind of mod that would otherwise add snow textures to Whiterun in any case. Here is the screenshot of the problem:

I have disabled/enabled all of the texture mods in various combinations, even ran a clean run of Skyrim (since i use MO), but no avail, the textures of grass in Whiterun remain like in the picture attached.

if you modded it like the real vision 0.272 tutorial said

paralax fix project this causes me the same trouble with purple textures on the ground try to deactivate it and it should work fine

Nope, no ENBs here, I used that "I can't believe it's not ENB" trick with Imaginator.

are you using ruffled feather by any chance? you might have missed something in the install.

It looks like those are actually missing textures.

My guess is that you have a texture mod, like Ruffled Feather Pack, that edits those textures... but it didn't get installed correctly.

Try reinstalling that mod and any other landscape texture mods you have.

Sorry to necrobump...but I had the same problem, and uninstalling The Ruffled Feather was what fixed it for me. Hope this helps someone else out there.
