RP: The Hunter Sign Up Thread

Okay,

 

I've never done this before, but here goes:

 

Name: Faranor

Age: 40

Sex: Male

Class: Ranger/Assassin

 

And I'll post an extract to get you all fired up :)

Faranor stood on the crest of the rise, watching the forest peel out below him. Hills rose up to his left and right, higher, but Faranor preferred the lower slope. In front of him, far beyond the forest, he could see the black outlines of mountains blocking the horizon. Faranor turned to leave. There was no game here. But he stopped dead in his tracks. Someone was coming up behind him. He rested his hand on hi bow, ever so gently, and then waited.

 

The footsteps still approached. Faranor waited still. Closer, now, the foosteps were louder, more concrete. Faranor unleashed. His bow was knocked and drawn before he had finished whipping around, and he was letting fly, and he... stopped. In front of him stood someone he hadn't seen in a long time. A very long time. Dakar was a relic of his past, and not a relic he needed almost a thousand miles from where his past belonged.

 

Faranor grimaced. "What the hell are you doing here?" Dakar smiled. He was wearing dark, nondescript armour that covered him all the way to the neck, and he held his helmet under his arm. He had long, dark hair, that fell straggling at his shoulders. His sharp, blue eyes suggested an intelligence that belied his manner and his clothing.

 

"Hello, Faranor." Faranor smiled back, and then lowered his bow.

"Come, old friend. Let us talk."

Okay, let me know if I've done anything wrong, like I said, it's my first time.

 

I'm basing this story about a ranger, who was once a very high-ranking member of both the Morag Tong and the Fighter's Guild, called back to Vivec when his brother has been found murdered. I'll kick it off. You can play an assassin, whoever you want. Bring them into the story however you wish. Now power playing etc.
