blueeyes34
my fiancee thought she would surprise me and put oblivion on our laptop, but she installed it in the program files. so i uninstalled to put outside the program files to be able toput mods into the game because of windows 7and it started saying it was a blank disk. i called a local computer repair shop and they said it had to do with the filters for the dvd player, i restored them to their default setting and it worked. oblivion installed and so did the second disk. i put the first disk back in and started it, it started fine, i set it to run as administrator and all was fine. i left the disk in the in the drive, then got off the computer for 3 hours (fiancee and facebook), got back on and tried to load the game and got the message to insert the original disk and that the drive wasn't ready. so i waited a few minutes and tried again to load the game and got the message to to insert the oblivion disk several times. i tried to uninstall it from the control panel of the computer and got the same message, so i did it manually. i've tried three times since then to install it since then and got one blank message and the other two times it did nothing.i know it works because i can put in dragonage and it loads it and i tried the game in my daughters laptop and it loaded just fine, so it's not the game. any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated and thank you in advance. don't know if this will help but here's the system specs Hp G62 notebook windows 7 64 bit systemAMD V120 processor 2.20 GhzATI Mobility Redeon HD 42503.00 gb harddrive i don't know if this matters but i don't have roxio or nero, just cyberlink P.S. i would like to apologize to gamemaster 79 i mistakenly put a post about this on his, so i apologize.
