Trashdog
Thanks for the detailed help, but I'am sure the Texture Paths are corect. Those armors are working ingame just fine and I also already tried to move the texture to a completely new folder and reasign the paths with Nifskope, didn't change anything, the Mesh was still black. Also as Astymma said he tried this particular outfit (which is only one of many) out himself und Blender displayed it just fine. Anyway, I will uninstall everything now and clean the system as suggested and then I will report back.
LHammonds
Well, one thing you can do to trouble-shoot the problem area is to select the object, press F6 for the Texture buttons and see what the full texture path is in the Image panel. Example: I imported an Elven dagger from this NIF file/path: e:\Games\Oblivion\out\meshes\weapons\elven\dagger.nif The F6 Image panel shows the path to the texture as: e:\Games\Oblivion\out\textures\weapons\ElvenDagger.dds What is the exact path to your NIF file that you are importing....and what is the exact path inside Blender to the expected texture? And does that expected path actually point to an existing file/path? LHammonds
Trashdog
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!! (capslock intended :P) For some reason Blender was searching for the textures inside a subfolder in the meshes folder which dosn't even exist. So I just created that one and moved all the textures there, and it works! I have no idea why Blender is looking for the textures there but I don't realy care as long as I know a way how to bypass this, I'am just realy happy now that it works... wheeeeeeeeee :D Many thanks again, both of you have my eternal gratitude :)
