davidlallen
I own FO3 on PC and I have just purchased the Point Lookout DLC. I can view the base game content by opening fallout3.esm in geck. Where do I find the Point Lookout content using geck? I cannot find where the DLC esm/bsa files live on my PC. This is for my own use only. Khajit187
well, the Point Lookout.esm should be in the same folder as you fallout3.esm, which means: yourfallout3directory/data. just open the GECK, then tick Point Lookout.esm.if it's not there... well, then i don't know
davidlallen
That is what I thought also, but there is no new esm file there. I did a search in Windows Explorer on my entire disk and the only esm files are for FO3, FNV, and some mods which I have. Does anybody know the answer? rickerhk
If I recall it's buried in your user profile. Go to control panel, folder options and set to view hidden files, then start searching in this direction: C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\XLive\DLC You should be able to copy the esms to your data directory. There may be a path setting you need to change in the fallout.ini for it too. I didn't have to go through this with the GOTY CD, but others have when they used Live to get it. davidlallen
There it is! Thanks. That is a ridiculously long path. I wonder why a file search for *.esm did not find it.
