sankojin
I have looked for the Duncan MacLeod Katana Mod and I haven't found it. I have found one that someone made saying it is the Duncan katana but the person that made it looks nothing like the sword that the actor Adrian Paul used in the tv show Highlander. The sword that I am talking about looks like the one on this site http://www.unitedcutlery.com/ProductDetail.aspx?itemno=UC2592D&cat=LC. It is the Duncan MacLeod sword made by united Cutlery. I am sure that if you do a search online you can find many more pictures of it. If someone could make me a mod that looks just like the sword in those pictures I would really appreciate it. I have look but couldnt find anything against it so if i am in the wrong please let me know and i will take this post off. So I would like to hire someone to make this mod for me. I would like them to make a very well done Duncan Katana sword like the one i posted in the above link. If someone makes me a good Mod I will pay them 75 dollars. The payment will be made through pay pal if someone does accept. Payment will be made once the project is finished. Who ever is willing to do this can contant me and we can talk about the details. tatts24
I have read this post once before and thought that sword looks very familiar. I have seen the Highlander movie's but did not pay any attention to the sword as far as the detail. I just realized today where I seen that sword before, A good friend of mine owns two macleod swords, that exact sword and a black sword. Not sure which style the black sword was, However, he is going to loan the white sword to me for a couple days. I'll be modelling it once I have good pictures to work from. He also has other swords that I'll be taking pictures of as well.

I dont know how well they will work for you though. I found all my pictures off of google search images. I tried to model the sword my self but I was unable to get all the programs that is required to do so. I am in the navy and I am deployed on a navy ship right now over seas. We have internet here but it is very limited on what we can download and put on navy computers. So I wasnt able to get all the programs to model the sword my self. That is why I went on here and asked for help. I could send you the pictures that i have but I can not log into photo bucket as it is a blocked site on navy computers. And that picture that you do have on here is a picture of the lower half of the handle. And I must say that your work on the other weapons is amazing :)
tatts24
This sword will be very easy to model, I am not worried about the modelling process at all. What I am interested in, is extreme detail. Most pictures that I have seen so far are in the absolute side view, I think this sword deserves the most detail I can possibly give it. (Texture wise) I have found an excellent picture to work from but it is not the dragon head sword. it's the serpent with the roundish face. my buddy did loan me his swords for reference but I am not keen to the molded plastic hand grip. it lacks the detail between the two halves on the top and bottom. maybe I should'nt be so picky. lol http://i372.photobucket.com/albums/oo161/tatts24/sword-1.jpg However, I have been also working long hrs this week but will try and start it tomorrow some time. I can't see the picture posted above. Not only does military computers block photo bucket but it also blocks anything from there as well. So the picture just looks like an x to me. Also if your buddy has a cheap copy of the sword then the tsuka or handle will look like plastic. Marto makes a really good version of the sword or the one I posted in my first post. If you had one of those then it would look like ivory. And I like that your being picky. Even though i cant see the picture that you posted I really want the Duncan Katana dragon sword.
