Brock O Lee
This will be a total conversion mod, if I can get a team together. It will be pretty big, and not like the Morrowind game in the sense as it has a somewhat linear storyline. When I say this I mean you can't do your own thing for a while then decide to advance the storyline, the storyline will catch up with you. Bascially meaning that you won't decide to do the different things, the things will find you. Anyways, to the story. I want it to be a science fiction type mod. Yes, that might draw most of you away. New models, textures, weapons, etc. etc. I have a very long storyline so I will be able to do the dialogue and the quests and the such. I just need a team to help me, because that is about all I can do. Artists are pretty much what I need. Some people to model, texture, and help me put it all in CS. I do have 3ds Max, but I'm not that skilled with it. I am learning though. I know this project sounds stupid, but I do have a pretty detailed storyline. Well, tell me what you want to know and if you want to join. O yes, I would also need a webmaster, as this has no website either. Thanks.
Brock O Lee
If you are interested give me an email at [email protected]. I can help with the website and the models etc., just I'm not expert on any of that yet. If any of you are interested enough I will post the basic storyline here. It was originally a book I was going to write but I thought I'd start it out as this mod.
Peregrine
You forgot new buildings, new terrain, new items like chairs/tables, new everything, and an endless supply of work. I considered doing a star wars conversion, but then reality hit me and I dropped it in favor of something a bit more possible. And even that looks like its going to fail, since I can't seem to find anyone willing to help. The simple fact is, TC type mods are extremely difficult to do. You just need so much help from the few people who actually know how to do what you need. Like me for example, sure I could do a model or two for you if you want, but 100+? Sorry, but I've got plenty of work of my own.
Rynos
By artists do you mean concept artists??? If not you will need them...
Peregrine
Stormscape's necromancy/spam deleted. If nobody's posted in a request thread for a month, its a pretty good bet that the project is dead or moved elsewhere. Don't revive it, especially when you don't even have anything useful to add! german_man
heres an idea: get 50 people to do just 2 to 3 new models. there you go, got your hundred+ models/meshes.
Peregrine
Now just where do you think you can find 50 modelers who have both the free time and interest to work on this project? If you've found a place where help comes that easy, please tell me! And when I've already deleted one person's post for necromancy, adding your own random comment is not a good idea. I'm not locking this thread since someone related to the project might want to use it, but: If you are not making a serious offer to help, or posting news on this project: this thread is closed to you. Do not post here.
