FJMS1988 Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Hello everybody, I have been trying to maximize the amount of memory Skyrim uses with ENB but looks like the limit for me is 4GB although I have a 8GB graphic card and 32GB Ram. I have edited ini flies dozens of times looking for the right settings and I have also installed many performance and stability mods but my memory cap never exceeds 4GB. I thought that 4GB was maybe the max amount of memory you can use with ENB, but enblocal.ini file lets you put your entire memory with the VideoMemorySizeMb line, so looks like you can actually use more memory but there is something wrong with my ENB settings or installation... Is it possible for you to use more than 4GB with ENB? What is your secret please? Thank you very much in advance.
FJMS1988 Posted June 18, 2015 Author Posted June 18, 2015 First, is RAM or VRAM the measure for 4GB?Of course, sorry. It is VRAM as Skyrim Performance Monitor shows.
MotoSxorpio Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 I would ask on the ENBdev forum. I'm not sure, actually. I can't test with my 2gb cards. I know that other users on that forum have no complaints about VRAM measurements with high end cards.
