Hickory
Ok, first of all make sure you have the 'Extended' version of OBMM, as it makes creating OMODs from non-standard archives easier. Put the downloaded archives onto your desktop (purely for convenience) and run OBMM. Now click on the 'Create' button. Click on 'Add Archive' and point the wizard to a downloaded archive. If it asks to import data from TesNexus say yes. When the OMOD is created, double click on it in the right hand window.

The default installation path is 'Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\' or 'Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\' for 64 bit Windows. But to prevent UAC security issues, Oblivion should be uninstalled and reinstalled outside of Program Files, somewhere like C:\Games\Oblivion. Oh, and for future reference, it is best if you start your own topic, so that things don't get confused by multiple situations in the same thread. I got as far as Program Files after that there was no sign of Bethesda Softworks. I assume that this is because I saved it to my newly installed Local Disk(I:) any suggestions? bben46
If you installed it to I:\ Then look for I:\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion. Or possibly I:\Oblivion, or I:\Games\Oblivion. It will be in whatever path you specified when you installed it.

What does it say in the 'Target' box?
