InuyashaFE
I got an idea that may be implementable, possibly with the CM Partners mod, but that's up to whoever wants to try this. I was thinking, what if we could create our own companions instead of just hiring them out? One could possibly grab souls with soul gems, get another special resource, or use whatever's available, and create a golem to act as a follower! The golem's power could be dependent on a number of factors, mainly the size of the soul, the quality of the clay, etc. I haven't used CM Partners too much, so I don't know how expendable everyone is, but with this mod, CM Partners could be created on the fly if one has the right resources! What do you guys think?
InuyashaFE
As another note, what could be interesting is that the golems could become more human-like depending on the soul size, Petty could leave a beast-type, and Grand could leave a human-like golem that could wear armor and use weapons. Just a thought, though. Anyone who wants to do this is free to do it any way they wish.
Queldranos
love the idea of a loyal golem -> possibly different types depending on what material theyr made out of. ie clay(made from dirt), iron(iron items), steel(steel items), fire(made from fire sources) etc etc. Each golem could have different properties, and size of soul theyr made from could also play some part. Lot of possibilities, and i dont think it would be too difficult to make up, not any more difficicult than other companion mods out there. AJCrowley
Doesn't the Wizard's Tower dlc do that?
InuyashaFE
Doesn't the Wizard's Tower dlc do that? It does? *looks it up* Wow, you're right. It isn't exactly what I was looking for, but it accomplishes about the same thing from what I'm reading.
InuyashaFE
I can't download the Wizard's Tower plug-in, so that option's unavailable. This request is still open if anyone wants to take it.
