Lovecraft fans raise your hands !

So first of all, before i get a dozen of messages saying the same thing, i know about Hackdirt from the original game, and it was a nice touch, but it didnt really satisfied me, My request is for an Innsmouth town, big, near the water as a port town, with Devil's reef if possible, and of course lots of unpleaseant people, i liked the way the people looked like in Hackdirt, some of them looked like fish really, so you can just make some npcs that look like that, also the ai should allow the npcs to slighty and discretly follow you, but discretly, you dont want 30 npcs on your back, i believe a similar behaviour was implemented to the npcs in Hackdirt, so if thats so you can just copy that.

You get the idea, also, some houses should be locked down (but accesible) and they should contain some beasts, you can grab some beast from the original game that looks like that or make one for the mod, i believe those guys from shivering isles would do just fine, but they should not have any weapons or shields, also the town doesnt need to be huge but it need to be at leats double the size of Hackdirt, which was really just one block ;) .

so i dont know how many Lovecraft fans are there in this community but if you are not one of them, then you should read "A shadow over Innsmouth" as soon as you can, its a really good story, along with the whole Ctulhu mythos and the necronomicons by Donald tyson.

I don't like Lovecraft. He gets old real quick. It's like all his stories are the same. He tries to build and sustain all this suspense and sustain it indefinitely, even though very little happens in the stories and much of it is inconclusive. It is basically like, "There is this big scary alien/god/spirit thing out there and it is ugly and gross and evil and we are mostly helpless against it and I sure hope it won't hurt us! I am so scared!"

yeah i get your point, he does that a lot, but i never found it irritating, i guess its not for everyone. Also a shadow over innsmouth is one of his very best stories.
