Recently installed some mods, now crashing on startup

So it's crashing on startup, pretty sure I got the load order right(I used BOSS). I'm running windows 8. Someone help please!

After you used BOSS, what happened? How did you load order get changed?

 

Group your plugins together and in the same order as the base game.

 

Place the compatibility patches after the last mod that is being patched.

 

Did the game ever run without mods?

Yeah, the game did run without the mods before. And when BOSS ran it opened a webpage saying which mods it recognised etc. And I re-ordered them to look like this but it still didn't work:

So, in attempting to fix it I did a complete reinstall, and it works fine once installed, and FOSE works fine aswel. But the moment I install my mods it would seem that both FOSE and Vanilla both stop responding on launch, even if I then disable all the mod plugins it still crashes on launch, maybe it's just any mod causes it to crash? Help please

If you have the Fallout 3 version from Steam and it is installed in "Program Files", you will have a problem with FOSE or any other mod that makes changes to the Fallout 3 .exe or any other .esm file.

 

You would have to move your steam folder outside of "Program Files". There are instructions on Steam to do this.

 

What are your equipment specifications?

 

If the problem is mod related, start the base game and make a save. Install one mod and start the game. If it works, exit the game and add another mod. Continue doing this until the game crashes again. The last mod you added caused the crash.

 

Uninstall the mod and continue adding mods until you finish or the crash happens again.
