Mod Order Issue

Oh, right. I really don't know what to suggest, then, as I am not familiar with that mod, or what it does.

 

I'm still trying to find out why reordering the mods caused it to stop working. It virtually convinces me that it is mod order that is causing the problems.

I really don't see how that can be, considering that it is way down the load order list. Remember, the lower down the list it is, the higher priority it has as far as conflicts are concerned. Not only that, but the BOSS team are really smart in what they do.

I've done some experiments with mods relating to the Scripted Argonian Feet Mod and starting the game from the desktop, Wrye Bash, and OBMM. There appears to be one factor that influences whether or not this mod will activate: Whether or not I start the game from OBMM, not Wrye Bash. If I start the game from OBMM, the mod works. If I start the game from Wrye Bash, the mod doesn't work at all. I still can't get it to work perfectly, seeing as how I cannot wear anything on my feet, as is claimed. I'm going to download another version of the arrays and see if I can then. Just thought I'd update the situation.

So what you are saying is that:

If you start the game from the desktop AF does not initialise.

If you start the game from Wrye Bash AF does not initialise

If you start the game from OBMM the game initialises, but doesn't work correctly.

 

Is this right? And if so, do you have OBMM open when running from the other two sources?

You are right. I always have Wrye Bash open, albeit minimised. I only open OBMM when I choose to run the game from that platform.

 

After more experimentation, I determined that, based on my particular setup, Slof's Argonian Mod is NOT needed and I also solved my clothing issue. I had forgotten to download a clothing patch for "Argonian Beautification." I am now 90% sure that the issues I was having with the mod not initialising are entirely based on whether or not I started the game in OBSE.

Ok, I downloaded this mod to see what the requirements are, and what is going on. You HAVE to start the game from OBSE loader, and you HAVE to have the OBSE plugin 'Pluggy' installed. I started a new game (Robert's Male and Female versions installed) and it initialises and acts as you would expect:
