Tiberiu911
Well, my favorite mod of all time is Project Serpent: Reign of Venom :P. Probally followed by Natural Environments and any mod that adds tons of new models to the game.
DJ_Che
For me, the most kick ass mods are... Qarl and timeslp's Depth of FieldBeautiful PeopleArt of War wepon pack 1Blades Ceremonial ArmorMasksSolaceArkenfell Manor All the mods are so far the best Ive ever seen, especially Qarl and Timeslip's Depth of Field, makes the game look beautiful and increases the FPS (i think...). If you havent tried any of them, DO IT NOW!
SireLancelot
Gorier Blood 1.09.1e ---> The way to un-disneyfy the game! :D Third Person Crosshair Alternative ---> Makes 3rd Person combat playable, although the .xml file does need tweaking to get the crosshair coords accurate! Hmm, this TPCA mod looks nice. Or at least, interesting to try a different gameplay style. What changes have to be done to the .xml file? (because i presume there is just one xml file, right?), and even most important, how? Do you need a non ordinary text editor to modify it? I fear so.
StClair
I mostly go for cosmetic mods, to improve the look of the game without messing with how it plays. Here are some of my favorites: AliveWaters, along with Phinix's Waterfix - much nicer underwater scenes, though I usually have to disable the first to do the "Go Fish" quest; it sometimes messes up the slaughterfish spawns. Better Amulets and Better Rings - actually, just go download everything by Kafeid. :) Book Jackets: Oblivion - absolutely essential, makes it easier to identify books at a glance and shelves so much prettier. This was actually the first mod I ever heard of, which eventually led me here. I use someone else's modified Mysterium Xarxes texture, which I find to be the best of both worlds. Dark Green Glass Armor - makes glass armor and weapons a nice emerald or bottle green, rather than radioactive lime. Illumination Within Revived + Natural Interiors - of the many exterior and interior lighting mods out there, these are my favorites. Note that the first link is to the Optimised version of IWR; you'll also need to download the regular 0.92 version, and then copy the new files over it. Reznod's Mannequins - so handy for showing off my Stuff Slof's Horses - now horses are brown, not purple! And get Better Horse Eyes while you're at it. VAs Better Gold with No Menu Icon - I prefer this mod-of-a-mod to the original. Unlike most of the community, it seems, I don't change my menus, and the gold coin icon that comes with the stock mod is just obnoxiously big if you don't. The actual coins look great, though. PunisherX100
It is amazing how many great mods there are for this game.My favorites are:Knights of the 9 -- DVD expansion packGrowlf's Hot Clothes and Armor (and the unrivaled beautiful female body texture and animations)Unlimited rings and amulets (required for Growlf's but a definite plus anyway)Ring of feather (increasing encumbrance by 500 - needed for all of the hot armor)DoomShard BowRen's beauty packImproved facial textures modShadow Steed Nightmare (the Black stallion [just as powerful but more peaceful] with a spell to call it to you)Topal Island and safe water (dynamite Island home, with lighthouse, huge library, and other perks)Plain sailing (a Ship that works- good for variety)Dark mage outfitDamsels in distress (not that innovative, but adds a touch of spice to dungeon storming) I appreciate the other postings here, they give me some good ideas for experimentation. Malkav33
Well I'm quite surprised there are no UL on any list:UL mods are my favourite mods; it's true some of them have problems, which will be worked out by the UL team eventually (the only one that apparently isn't on the way to be solved is the Great Forest mod by Aelius, because he left...)...But take a look at UL: Ancient Yews by Carel de Winter, at Entius Gorge and The Heath (by Phitt), at Stendarr Valley, at the Lost Coast (hope Aberneth solves the compatibility issue with KotN soon, i've read on the UL thread that he's working on it) at Fallen Everglades, and you'll never be able to disable them... Thievery in the Imperial City is a must have for any thiefApophis: Armory of the Silver Dragon, if only for the capes!Realistic Flora (I'm not sure about the name: it's a harvesting mods, with new models for harvested plants)BT ModDark UI/Atmospheric Loading ScreensKafeis mods (amulets and rings)Book Jackets (I don't remember the entire name: the one that's number one on this site's top 150 list)Chameleon norefractionAttack and HideAlive WatersPhinix Water FixReznod's Mannequinsthere are so many quick gameplay fixes that I use I can't remember them all...
