Switch
I could have sworn this has been done before but I couldn't find a thread about it anywhere  strange. Anyway, my favourite is Dark Elf. Just because they're cool looking and work with just about any class you give them :P
Dagger of Symachus
I like dark elf a lot. They look good and are good about adapting. Breton's are pretty good too. They have resist and fortify magicka which makes them extremely good mages. You can get as much as maximum 2.5 magicka which is good. High elves are similar to breton's except where there was magicka resistance for a breton, there is magicka weakness for a high elve. That is why i consider this race rather pointless. I mean how about maximum magikca x 1, because then that would even out the disadvantages. Otherwise they are rather pointless. Orcs are pretty good. But I think a dunmer is better. but I never really role played one so I don't really know. But I think a redguard could be just as good if not better, because when I saw it's ability berserk I saw it wasn't even close to as good as adrenline rush. Redguards are what I think as the best combat race. They have a good ability that can really help in the early game in tough fights. But over all, I think that the breton's or dunmer would have the best abilities over all for the entire game. Argonians are ok. But I don't like the beast races that much. Not so much that I think they deserve to be slaves, but enough that I don't think they are as good as most other races. Argonians resist common disease is pretty pointless, since you gain resistance to all types of diseases early on in the game. Khjajiit are only good if you are looking for a challenge. They were designed to be thieves, but any expiernced Morrowind player knows that you can't live off just being a thieve. Nords are pretty good combat characters. They are the best for Bloodmoon which makes them pretty good, but when it comes to average Morrowind redguards are better. Wood elves seem pretty good for the early game. I never got very far as a bosmer, but they seemed pretty good when I played them. Over all I think they are some of the most fun to play due to all the marksman they use. Imperials seem all right, but not extremely good. I think they are better then khjaiits, but not by much. They are supposed to be "diplomates", but I think they are more rogues then any thing else. This leads me to believe that dark elves are some my favorite, wood elves are pretty fun, redguards are good for combat characters, and khajiits make a good challenge. Adrian Laguna
I don't like argonians and khajit because they cannot use two peices of armor, boots and helmets. For combat the best two races are Nord and Redguard. Redguard has Adrenaline rush, which is very usefull in the early and middle games, and great combat stats.Nords also have good stats and they have 100% resistance to frost and 50% resistance to the the most or second most powerfull attack spell, lightning (poison may be the most powerfull but I don't see anybody using it). For magicka using characters Bretons and Dunmer are the best. Altmer are too weak to magicka for my tastes. Bretons have a tendency towards defensive and curative magics while Dunmer are more towards offensive magicka. Both have good magicka resistance (Bretons to all magickas, Dunmer 50% to fire). As for stealth classes Bosmer, Bosmer, and of course Bosmer. You could try Imperials, but I don't recomend it. Overall I think Dunmer are the most flexible race, they can do anything. But I preffer Nords over anything, I would love them more if I could use the awsome voice powers that Greybeards have, even if only at a fraction of their power. DreamOfTheRood
Why are the Imperials better than everybody else? Let me tell you.1. Tamriel - They created the biggest nation in the game world. Crap, man. Tamriel IS the game world.2. They can adapt to any class and sign you give them.3. They are not Dunmer.4. They have a Thieve's Guild. Daemarian
I like Dunmer because they are almost a jack-of-all-trades character. On a personall note I think that the Dunmer could have created an empire of their own, they'd have a powerful enough army, if it wasn't for the fact that they view all other races as inferior as opposed to the Imperials that have mix their Legions with all the races.
