euphoriaaa
Hi everyone, I'm relatively new to Skyrim. I bought the game a week ago and have installed a fair few mods to inprove my Skyrim experience. Needless to say, in my hungry quest for finding more mods, I came across HDT. It seemed like a great physics mod, so I installed it. When I booted my game, it just would not work! I've tried:- Re-installing the mods- Adding all the necessary mods needed for HDT (I had incompatible skeletons so I installed another compatible one)- Re-installing the appropriate mods in a particular order suggested by over 20 guides I've read which comes in this order: HDT, Body, Skeleton.- Reading more guides and downloading Mod Manager (which I didn't end up using, nor intend using. I still use NMM). Here are the files that I have that I think need to be installed for this to work: - DIMONIZED UNP Female Base Body- UNP HDT- PE BBP TBBP- HDT Physics Extensions- Skyrim Hair Physics Project- XP32 Maximum Skeleton XPMS- XP32 New Animation Package - Nexus Exclusive - New Animation Pack Here is a list of all mods I have installed for reference, if it helps:http://i59.tinypic.com/x2nt3t.jpg At this point, I don't know what installation order I should use or whatsort. I'm completely lost. Any hairstyle that I change to that has something like a ponytail in the character's hairstyle, it will not work. No hair/boobs/skirt physics detected. Someone please walk me through this in GOOD DETAIL. I'm usually good with following through guides but this is just way too much for an average gamer girl like me. I know most people complain about HDT installations as well. Any advice is appreciated... I'm just so lost and near giving up on this mod now... >.< Edited June 24, 2015 by euphoriaaa
iraido
Hi, first English is not my native language but i may help youI use CBBE, but the installation should be very similar. In my opinion you should use XPMSE instead of XPMS/XP32. In order to make HDT work you need : -SKSE (because HDT works with SKSE)-A TBBP Skeleton, here XPMSE which requires Realistic Ragdolls and Forces and FNIS-A TBBP body (in that case UNP HDT- PE BBP TBBP)-HDT Physics Extension So the Installation procedure should be :1-SKSE2-SkyUI (optional but recommended)3-FNIS + Creatures + Spells4-Realistic Ragdolls and Force5-XPMSE6-Generate FNIS Behavior using the "Generate FNIS for users" 7-UNP UNP HDT- PE BBP TBBP8-HDTAfter that you should get Body physics working and then you can install your HDT mods such as the Hair Physics Project HDT will not add physics to existing items/armors, only HDT-created clothing/armors/hair such as the hair mod you installed will have Physics  Edited June 25, 2015 by iraido
jennawatson
you can have the body of choice with HDT. So it need not be TBBP or UNP, but whatever "body" you want. If you don't know the different body types, do some research. It's fairly simple, it is basically starts with a skinny body type, then varies up to a big boob and big butt body type. And keep in mind, the armors will correspond to the body types. Also note: the HDT armors have "their own" HDT effects, and the bodies with have "THEIR OWN" HDT effect. Just because your body has HDT, does no mean it will have it when you put on clothes or armor, because the armor, or clothing, must carry its own HDT. JW. PS. I noticed that the person above, Iraido, provided a pretty god explanation, but like many people, assumed you knew certain things. You will have to fill in the gaps yourself. For example, he did not explain that SKSE must be installed and run a certain way. And FNIS must be installed a ONLY IF YOU ARE USING SPECIASL ANIMATIONS, and then the GenerateFNISforUsers.exe must be run afterwards, to activate the animations. But FNIS is not required for HDT. But it makes things sexier if you have both installed. Edited June 24, 2015 by jennawatson
iraido
Hi everybody and sorry Jenna, You're right, my explanation assumed the person knew certain things but i thought she were going to watch videos about SKSE and learn how to use it that way. And also i think you're partially wrong on some points : Concerning the Body, she said she wanted Bounce so i told her to keep her actual TBBP body Concerning FNIS, it is required because of the Skeleton (XPMSE) and if you look at her list of installed mods in the list she provided and the screenshot, she knows how tu use FNIS and already used it for the animation package she has installed. Edited June 25, 2015 by iraido
jennawatson
Yes, that's right. You will need FNIS for the new XPMS skeleton. Thanks Iraido for showing that. JW.
