Usually it is not very recommended to install any mod before finishing Helgen. In my opinion it is either WIC Cloaks Of Skyrim or INeed

Is this a good CPU/GPU upgrade to handle modded Skyrim?
iraido replied to BLUcody's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
In my opinion the GTX 960 is largely sufficent for 2k textures and a heavy ENB. a 660/660ti can already do that, so a 960 will have no problems. -
You can indicate the location manually in NMM.
-
Looks like you lack some permissions to access your program files. Try a rescan of NMM so it can locate the new Fallout 3 install in the Steam folders.
-
Yeldur that's not the point here anymore.

What's your GPU ? AMD or Nvidia ? For Nvidia : right click on desktop and you should find it? Same for AMD.
-
Deleting the entire "Data" folder ? You must reinstall then...

whats your fav texture ? sk2k ? tamriel reload ?
iraido replied to instanthit's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
From what i've seen there is some additions that you can make to the 2K, with mods such as "Immersive roads", for example. -
Post a screenshot maybe ? With that we could identify the problem.
-
There is a mod that prevents Elder Womens from doing "young women idles". Search something like "no idle elder" or something like that.

Tamriel Reloaded is, in my opinion, too different from the original textures. It doesn't look good on some areas. Skyrim HD 2K-4K is very close to the original textures, looks better in my opinion. I think this road is from Tamriel Reloaded. -

I think so, 4 GB VRAM is really good for modding and this is an high-end i5. -
Realvision ENB. The most resource-demandig ENB. Verdant is horrible for performance, and cinematic fire effects 2 HD too. Also you seem to have 2 fire effects mods. Your computer seems good to run all those mods at 1400p, But even a 980Ti can't run all this properly at 4K. Also 4100 MB Vram from these mods is really heavy, you know. With a 2nd card, it should get better, or you should just stay at 1440p.

Well, did you use bosyslide ?

CBBE is smaller than UNPB, but not smaller than UNP...
-
Well, here's Skyrim HD 2K : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/607/? and here is Realistic Water Two : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41076/? You should lose 5-10 FPS with Realistic Water Two depending on where you are (lots of water or not) and the impact of 2K textures should be of maximum 5 FPS
-
Well, there's a lot of Graphics mods, You can install ENBs (ENBs mostly change the lighting), Textures, Water mods, and many other things but be sure to have a good computer, especially for ENBs because they are really resource-demanding. For the ENB well, choose yourself, there's a lot of them on the Nexus, some are performance-friendly and some requires beastly computers. For the Textures you can use "Skyrim HD 2K-4K". And for the Water "Realistic Water Two" is good.

Manual way ? Seriously ? Uninstalling manually is just horrible. I always install with NMM, no problem.

My skyrim keeps crashes my GPU after playing a while.
iraido replied to ileile's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Well i'm not very skilled with BSoD errors but it looks like it has something to do with GPU : atikmpag.sys is, if i'm not mistaking, related to the GPU driver. -
In my opinion MO is way too complicated

So Skyrim and Fallout New Vegas crash your GPU, and, of course, attempting to start a game after that makes the computer Bluescreens... That seems logic but i've never seen something like that. About Crossfire yeah i think it's not the issue. So as MotoSxorpio said, maybe posting your BSoD message could help.
