combs4993
I have been using obmm for almost a year now without any problems at all. But when I tryed to open it today it just says that obmm has encounter a problem and then closes. I have tried reinstalling it and oblivion, but still the same problem. I even redownloaded it a installed that one and still the same thing. Does anyone know what is wrong?
Hickory
Have you scanned your system for viruses and malware? Have you changed any system settings? Is your game installed outside of 'Program Files'? All of these could have some bearing on OBMM not running correctly.
combs4993
It is installed in the default oblivion folder. And yes I have scanned my system for virus. I have a different computer to use the internet with do it should not be a virus
Hickory
Ok, the first thing I would do is to uninstall Oblivion and reinstall it outside of the default, protected 'Program Files'. Windows (7 and Vista) don't like anything writing to 'Program Files', so you should always install games somewhere like C:\Games\ -- I have mine in C:\Games\Oblivion\. That should rule out UAC interfering with the execution of OBMM.
