JacktheThief
Alright, I'm sorry if it's been asked before but I didn't think rooting through 594 pages of forum was a practical idea. Oh, and I'm sorry too if this is the wrong site for this problem, but maybe someone has run into this problem before. I go to the OBSE site, click download most recent, and then instead of opening a bar in the bottom of the explorer and me clicking 'open', it opens a window with the options. So then I cilk 'open' on this window and it doesn't do anything after that. It's not the specific file because I downloaded an older vesion from a different site, because I downloaded an older vesion from a different site but none of the mods work so I thought I'd try consulting you guys, and I figured you guys know a lot about computers and stuff. Also it's not the specific site because it's happened on other sites before too. I have a Vista and Internet Explorer 8. If nothing comes to your minds perhaps someone could provide an alternate site to download most recent version from that maybe this won't happen with? Thanks for any suggestions. Hickory
Always get OBSE from the official site -- downloading from "other sites" is risky, and there is no need to. The link is here. If the file does not download when you click on it, try right clicking and select 'Save Target As...'

Hickory
Yes, I right clicked then selected "Save Target As..." Well, the link is definitely not dead, so I would suspect your browser. Try installing Firefox, and use that.
