tyr1 Posted February 8, 2011 Share Posted February 8, 2011 I've a problem with oblivion that I never had on my old computer.I've a pretty new, pretty good computer; dual core, windows 7, Radeon HD 5700, etc... basically well above what Oblivion was designed for (which is cool, when I first got it many years ago my graphics card wasn't good enough). It generally runs pretty decent, after some minor configuration, not altogether as pretty as mods promised it'd be but well.However, whenever I quit the game it crashes.Now, this isn't a huge deal. I can still play just fine. But its annoying to have to crank up the grahics settings afresh every time I play and having to alt-tab to oblivion so I can press enter and close the 'this program has crashed' box.I've tried a few little mods which supposedly fix such crashes but...none seem to work for me.Any ideas? WastelandAssassin Posted February 8, 2011 Share Posted February 8, 2011 well, i remember it happening to me quite a lot, especially the need to change the resolution back up to proper level, every time it crashed from what i recall, this was solved by getting the latest graphics drive, but i'm not 100% sure that this was the solutionanyhow, it's worth a try (and getting the latest drive isn't bad in any way i know of) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
