artificialsloth
I'm trying to make a message box that will ask the player to type something and then save what the player types to a variable in a script, but I am yet to even come close to figuring out how I could do this. artificialsloth
Hey have a look at this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57308/?Thanks that's exactly what I needed. You wouldn't happen to know how I could use what the player types as the name of an actor would you? Edit: Never mind I got it Edited June 28, 2015 by artificialsloth

You wouldn't happen to know how I could use what the player types as the name of an actor would you? Edit: Never mind I got it Word of caution if your intending on renaming followers:eg: User offered an input box and you use the user input to rename an actor... If the Actor is in a quest alias that is flagged as stores text then you will more then likely break that actors dialogue/talk option. In other words when you target the renamed actor they will not have the talk option. My advice would be if your intending on using this to rename a follower or a soon to be follower, then don't do it!
