Vecna6667
I believe that they're trying to keep a lid on the bulldozer and fusion chips to try to catch intel by surprise. The bulldozer is an 8-core chip that has a feature similar to hyper-threading that is found in the core i7s, but doesn't waste resources, and the fusion chips are AMD's answer to the new Sandy Bridge chips. Once these two chips come out, AM3 chipset mother boards will be obsolete and the AM3+ will take over. I would wait to see how these new CPU's will fare against LGA1155 and the upcoming LGA2011 before worrying. Even if the CPU's don't work out, AMD still have their GPU's. Illiad86
I don't think there's anything to worry about. It's been, for years it seems, that AMD was going to go out of business and they never did. Their stocks haven't been worth anything for a long time too. They'll come out with their new chips and blow Intel out of the water like they did back when the first Pentiums came out ;)
