Pyrosocial
I think that if he were to run, it would be a lot like Arnold S. When he went for the governer position of California, many voted for him because he was the "Terminator" first, everything else second. I think that if Trump runs there is a very good chance he could be our next president simply because of who he is. I went and did some research on his current views, and while I severly dislike Trump, he might be able to do some good in our country so long as he can do more than talk the talk. Of course, I do worry that he would also bring about the end of the small buisnesses of America, and we will most likely become more capitolist then we already are. I think he might be able to stabilize our economy, improve our military, and strengthen our ties to other countries. At the same time he could be the reason america burns to the ground if he was too finanically orriented.

He has been the cause of a few businesses collapsing, he wants to get rid of China, and our military is pointlessly overly powerful.

Then burn it to the ground.
yoba333
I don't know about Donald Trump. For one, I feel like he could run America like a business. Economic hardships are still upon us, and I feel like he might be able to get us out of them. From what I've heard about him, he seems rather smart. This would be preferable to having a dumb president, no matter what party is in office. However, I did lose a lot of respect for him this morning when I saw on the news that he is questioning President Obama's birth certificates. Obama's US citizenship has been proven and still people question it. I feel it is a waste of time to argue about and a stupid thing to focus on. I just don't know about him. If he runs as an independent he may sway some republican votes, since that's what he seems to be leaning towards. But I feel like he's smart enough to not run as an independent because he knows he won't win. However, I think that the public in general is skeptical about having Donald Trump as president. I don't think he can win and therefore I think him running is a waste of his money and time. These are just my opinions.

Kendo 2
If Trump runs against Obama I'll vote for him. If a blob of unidentifed jelly floating in a pickle jar runs against Obama I'll vote for it. What difference does it make who wrecks the country, a hustler from Chicago or a hustler from New York? They would have the same track record prior to the Presidency, zero political experience and authors of books but not bills. I can say this for Trump, he isn't the economic hack Obama is. At least when Trump runs something into the ground he knows how to build it back up. Obama couldn't pour piss out of a boot with instructions written on the heel, much less save the nation from an existing economic situation he exasperated. He is making too much money to care about fixing the country. Donald Trump would not be any better though. Also Obama was in the senate, so he has more political experience prior to his election then Trump.
Kendo 2
In Obama's term as Senator, he was present 107 days. He didn't do anything, he just parked his butt in a chair and avoided doing his job. He never authored or co-authored any bills, he dodged votes that would pin him down to a solid decision. He was busy playing golf and writting books. He's a hustler. At least with Trump people KNOW what they would be getting. Anyway, it doesn't matter who is elected. America is a joke now. I'm sure Muslim fundamentalists and Western European socialists are ecstatic about our situation. We should start spelling it 'Amerika'. One day, debates like this or access to the internet will be long lost memories. We have no one but ourselves to blame. We elect these yahoos and they run wild. Maybe, MAYBE one day someone will run for President who will stand up for the values and interests of all Americans, not just the his friends, the party that elected him, or his business partners. I don't think Trump qualifies.
