I'm just wondering if anybody can make a mod for sergals, or if anybody knows if one already exists

And yes i know that sergals belong to trancymick/mick39 XP

This is a sergal for those who don't know!

Hmm, pretty late to the call, but I wanted to write an answer here already at the 1st of december!

I was going to say I'd gladly donate my new dragon feet meshes (well, obviously an edited version of them, with one toe less, not rigged to 5 individual sets of bones so it grabs like a hand, removed hind claw, etc. etc.) once somebody was up for the task ("up for the task", there I wrote it myself! ...I absolutely "hate" this phrase. It's almost as bad as "up for the challenge" when someone wants to get modders on board for a request! And now I just used it myself...).

I liked the Sergal race concept ever since I first found it on either dA or FurAffinity, don't know where I saw it first. The merge of many animal races into one makes it so unique. It's pretty intriguing to make it a playable race. Sadly, as of late, I can't. There's just no time left for modding or even playing a game these days. I can't imagine this topic was up since February though and I only found it when it was brought up again at the beginning of december!

I only hope this is not supporting thread necromancy posting here after it was brought up again, and the OP is still around, or anybody else interested in this.

If it wasn't for their very unique head (those who know me know completely custom head meshes is something I'm staying away from ever since I did it once a long time ago) this actually wouldn't be too hard. There's a 3-finger hand resource out there, so making a 4-finger one shouldn't be much harder either. Heck, I made a foot mesh with 5 digits movable independently, just like a hand! Adding digits requires new animations, taking digits away does not.

Real fur on body parts again is somewhat of a sore spot of mine right now. I've had some bad experience with my very first attempt in it, and it wasn't even my meshes to begin with, I only made it working for the race and as part of the body. But it could get away fine with only "painted" fur as well.

Scripted bodyparts, which this race will require, and adapted clothing and armor so you can still wear something without loosing the appearance, is a main interest of mine. It really hurts I can't give it a try myself these days!

I was going to take a screenshot of the new feet in action, either from ingame or from in Blender as a render, but even for this task I didn't yet get around to find any time to do so. If I can't even get enough time for a stupid simple screenshot for weeks, actually modding something like this is totally out of question right now. Altering my dragon feet so they work as Sergal feet and with the default skeleton bones is one thing, and a pretty easy task that is, anything beyond that though is more or less impossible for me as of now. Hopefully I'll find some time to at least give this screenshot I'm talking of, so you'll see why I thought the dragon feet slightly modified would make pretty adequate Sergal feet!

As much as I can't do it myself at the moment I support any attempt towards bringing this very unique race into the game.

And no, Pyrothraxus, I can't make it so my feet meshes will work in Skyrim, I'm sorry. I don't have the game and no way to create NIFs that will work in Skyrim either.

Somebody else though will gladly be given permission to do so, if there's anyone intending to use my feet for this.

I'll first have to turn them into Sergal feet though. I'll not give away the dragon feet themselves, yet, until they're finished and working!

...damn, this whole post doesn't make sense without the screenshot!

And here it is, finally, the promised screenshot, or better yet, Blender render.

I already fiddled with the skeletal proportions a little to make it look closer to the reference in the OP.

The actual dragon feet meshes don't look like this, but as you can see one can make them so with ease.

Shorten one toe, remove the hind claw, and the only thing missing is fur.

"Alright, alright, just don't expect me doing the 'derp' face also... Rain Silves is so gonna kill me already for imitating her!"

(What is it with me and those poses lately? As soon as I see a good one in an image or drawing, I just have to recreate it in Blender! Considering I've got almost no free time at all, this is very... strange...)

So to repeat, if anybody's still interested in making the race, I can turn those into Sergal feet when asked.
