Muddyhead
I've been playing Fallout 3, GOTY Edition (for PC) now for about 3 or 4 weeks now--more than 800 saves. Starting yesterday, it appears that the recent saved games are unavailable. A saved game from about eight or nine saves ago seems the only choice I have, at the top of the list, when I start the game now. I've closed the game and gone to the saved game folder, using Windows Explorer (Windows XP SP2). I deleted about 70% of the earlier saved games, hoping that would help--but there is no change in the game-saving performance. P.S.--I've now discovered the more recent saved games by scrolling the saved games list all the way to the bottom of the scrolled display. However the "Continue" (from last saved game) choice starts the game from the saved game at the top of the saved game list(i.e. the saved game from about eight or nine saves ago). What's happening? Any comments or explanations will be appreciated. Edited February 13, 2011 by Muddyhead

Muddyhead
Bingo! Yes, I'm having a separate computer problem that is resulting, as a side effect, in the Windows XP time and date being reset to some random point in 2002. I usually correct this; this time I forgot. Thanks for the reply.
