LE 'memorial' dog follower mod request

I would like a modded dog follower. A very specific one. One that I'm sure has been requested in different shapes but hundreds of different people.

See what I would like....Is my dog.

 

You see he's....old. Very old. 12 years in fact. And his breed (cocker spaniel) has a life expectancy of 14 years at most. So....he's getting really up in age.

 

And I'd just...really really love a mod of him to follow me around in Skyrim even after he's gone from the real world.

A sort of preemptive memorial if you will.

 

His name is Quincy. Here's a picture of him from when he was around 8 years old:

He's always shaved since we live in a hot climate, and blind in one eye (it's completely white) and has a really grey muzzle due to his age.

 

I don't know if there are any cocker spaniel models that could be ported to skyrim, especially short-shaved ones,and this is definitely not lore friendly but if someone could point me in the right direction to try and make this myself, or make it themselves I'd very much appreciate it!! I would even accept a long-haired or medium length cocker spaniel! After all, Skyrim is a cold place.

 

I'll even make the textures for it to relieve the strain! I can draw fur and eyes fairly well I think, and I paint for a living so it shouldn't be too difficult to make some PNGs to convert into textures, if a proper model can be found.

 

Modding isn't easy I know that but...he's my baby.

 

Any help on this would be very very much appreciated!!!

There are probably mods for different breeds of dogs, instead of the default grey ones or dawnguard huskies but if you want a custom one I can't help you there. Sorry.

I haven't really seen any. I've seen one that change the shaggy dogs to dawnguard huskies or either one into wolves but that's it.

I tried very hard to make a model so I could do this myself, and the only models of a cocker spaniel I could find were ones I would have to pay for. I edited the vanilla dog in Sculptris and tried to change it to a nif using a mix of blender and nifskope. It kept making the face and tail disappear, even after i made the triangles very large, which made big holes in it anyway. It also said it couldn't load the mlt file due to some error but I didn't understand that.

I am very serious about trying to get this made, even if I have to try and do it myself. Any and all help is appreciated.
