vegeta0585
Now its been a while since I played DAO, and Im playing through again. I installed a few mods, mostly textures. In fact, all textures. Nothing to do with combat or changing combat, yet I could swear the game used to have descriptions of the skills. Now it just says, for instance, "pummel" and lists the power cost and range. Not what it does. Has it always been like that and im senile or is it not showing for some reason? Thandal
IIRC, the full descriptions only appear in the Skill Tree when you have the Character Sheet open. I think you might still have a mod-or-two leftover from before, since "Pummel" isn't in the vanilla game. Or did you mean "Pommel Strike"? Here's the info from the DA Wiki for "Pommel Strike":Instead of going for the fatal attack an enemy expects, the player strikes out with a weapon's pommel, knocking the opponent to the ground unless it passes a physical resistance check. So not a lot, (or too much) to list in a pop-up tag. Edited February 14, 2011 by Thandal typos.

Didnt show tool tips, it was pommel strike, fixed it. now just gotta figure out why everyone thinks my male character is female.

Akaiyro
Hello, This thread was one of the first results when I was looking up this issue online. I happened to find out what was happening (in my case), and I decided to share here.Hopefully it may be of help to someone else too. In my case there was a conflict between the following mods: Combat Tweaks v323 (https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/354)Qwinn's Ultimate DAO Fixpack v3.51 (https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/4689?tab=files)-Upon disabling either of them the descriptions appeared again in the skills' tooltip. Good luck!
