MotokoKHammond Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 exactly what the title said, for some reasson my followers wont attack unless directly hit by an enemy, I could have 15 bandits wailing on my character and they are just like "what you want me to do about it?" now considering Im playing a Healer / Illusionist character, I dont have offencive power so I NEED them to stop being lazy PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE someone help me, I keep getting this same bug and it doesnt seem to matter what mod I install or uninstall the problem presists.
jones177 Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 It is a problem with most followers. I get around it by conjuring a flame atronach. As soon as the atronach appears your followers will attach. There are some followers that are aggressive & will attack, triggering the rest to attack. In my game followers by yui0820 will attack. A short list of aggressive followers:Eryniel Elf Reborn by donnyduckyFemale Follower Kamille Shy by choco2114Hope from Six Beautiful Followers by lucas035Hotaru from Private Squad by borntoraisehell1979Tania the Hermit by Kasprutz There are probably ways to modify there behavior using TES5Edit or the creation kit, but I haven't done it. Later. thanks for the feedback, I will try the atronach however if possible I would like to avoid using conjuration spells, we will see. As for the follower mods, its sad that none of the followers you listed I actually use becuase of the astetic I am going for with my playthrough, I will be going through my entire mod list with TES5Edit but if push comes to shove and I cant fix the issue I will have to see what asception I am willing to make. Are you using a follower overhaul (AFT, EFF, etc)? If so, you may be able to use that to set their aggression lower; otherwise your best bet would be to go into the CK and change their aggression to "Helps friends and allies".

saurusmaximus Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 It's been a while since I used AFT, but I do remember there being something about adjusting follower aggression; not sure if it will help though. Try digging around in AFT's menus, it's in there somewhere.

Later. Btw I tried the summoning an Atronach thing and sadly it didnt work, the Atronach also refused to attack unless hit directly by the enemy ether, really kinda stumpped here to be honest.
