Thanks, shortly after i made that post i went and scoured the README files for all the mods. The flaw you pointed out was one of the first discovered. I had previously successfully installed and played with FO3 Wanderer's Edition and that things only went wonky after I added EVE and MMM. I can get to the shack in the alternate start but can't get out w.o it crashing. Will keep scouring the forums and youtube for answers. any assistance appreciated. If you don't want to use BOSS, http://boss-developers.github.io/ please go to the FO3 Wanderer's Edition mod page and scroll down the page. There is a sample load order for placing FO3 Wanderer's Edition and suggestions on how to place your other mods. Keep in mind, compatibility patches (Blackened FWE + MMM + EVE + Project Beauty.esp & WeaponModKits - FWE Master Release.esp) must load after the last mod that is being patched. Compare it to your load order and make the changes. Move the Blackened patch so that it is after your merged patch. When you make a new merged patch, do not include Blackened. It requires software controls built when the game was built and released.I could care less about what's assumed to be Obsolete, this game would then be considered "obsolete"This game has not changed at all since the update version patched 1.7Any codes written to address this game with that code is Gold. I loaded what BOSS said should be the load order. It's as follows:This program uses what all current programs use, an svn code downloaded from a server that has been altered to Today's time and place, it's based on today's current thoughts and software, It is not based on this games needs. The original program once used is ALSO considered Obsolete too ,"FOMM".Written by the very same people that maintain the SVN code for today's use...considering this game Obsolete. So the code will NOT match this games needs.It only seems to crash when i step outside of the alternate start shack. Going to try and just do the vault 101 start and see what happens. Will update with results. There are two Fomm version available that will work....now IF you own both versions of fallout's then you choose the NV Forked version of Fomm.Fomm has properties not talked about, it places "writes" to the game folder a depository control folder, it's Called Install Info. In here, the templates were Global. Dates...Updates, things going crazy with updates...well this code that was once used was changed, it was changed to fit Today's games, Not this old dinosaurSo this folder is no longer parsed by all the newer program versions...how ever it does pareses it , but there is no data in there for it to use because the data IT uses is meant for New algorithms, The files that contain the instructions for load order control use a different file name Extent ions that "FOMM" does not reconcile and will not use. There are numerous problems one of which is that i bit off more than i cab chew. I did, at first, successfully mod FWE into the game and with the ease of that process u decided to up the ante. I watched a video series by Dansgaming where he goes through a lot about how to mod the game. I realized it was a year old and a lot changed since then. Namely merged patches of mods like EVE and MMM.I don't mean to frustrate anyone i have been reading quite a lot. Some of it conflicting with things read previously so it's easy to get confused. I've tried quite a few load orders from mod pages like FOIP, FWE, LOOT, BOSS and a few more. To be honest I'vebeen treating this like a game/puzzle. With the reward being a bigger badder fallout.So going forward i will read what you linked. Reread a few things. Play with the load order and if it fails i will dial back the number of mods used to an amount i can manage and load properly before attempting to add more. Thanks for the assistance. Be advised I am not confused in this matter. I can in an instant grant you a rock solid load order and mods to play with, Or I can alter your course to a better way of doing things. what prevents this is I have no idea what your interest may be? if your new at all of this, then things here won't make any sense at all.That comes from experience. so..you say you liked FWE's facets? the way it works?How about Fook2 ? ever rant that by it's self Unmodified?um, what I can do is offer another approach, better mods that have all of these features but already melted together, that means a lot less is need to do. how about it?
