Shaidon7
I messed up that file by accidentally setting it as "active" in the mod. Now I have these ignored modifications and wrong modification date. Can you help me with that by uploading yours GOTY DLCShiveringIsles.esp compressed (so will keep the proper date)? Won't be bigger then 1kb Thanks in advance! p.s.: I really don't want to reisntall everything just because of this small file... :wallbash:
WastelandAssassin
well, you will probably have to, as this is a copyrighted file, and anyone who will upload it will get bannedin fact, there is a chance that you may get banned for requesting this (though it's not up to me to decide) i feel your pain, but i don't think anyone can really help you here, especially not on a public forum
InAComaDial999
Make a copy of your Oblivion install directory (c:\program files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion or wherever you installed it) as well as your My Documents\My Games\Oblivion, reinstall the game, copy out the esp you want, then delete the new directories and rename the copies to their original names. LFact
Since DLCShiveringIsles.esp is dummy file for loading SI resources, you can make a blank esp file in CS, then rename it DLCShiveringIsles.esp.
Shaidon7
It's just the esp file. This alone don't add anything to the game, just some settings for the expansion. I own the game!
WastelandAssassin
in that case, i was thinking of a different kind of filebut seeing as you've been given proper solutions, you can dismiss my previous comment i'm sorry, it's just that i've seen people banned for similar things (though not exactly the same, and i think that you should be safe)
bben46
Do what Lfact said. The si.esp is a dummy file and only used as a place keeper to let the game know if you want to play with SI or not. The real SI was installed into the Oblivion.esp and Oblivion.exe. as part of the Si installation. Si is not a DLC, but a expansion of the game itself. Even if you do claim you 'own' the game and can prove it. We cannot legally allow even one tiny COPYRIGHTED file to be distributed through this site. And that is exactly what you are begging us to do. Asking again WILL get you banned as a Pirate.Topic closedBben46, Moderator
