I think I broke my SKSE.

Straight from the skse_readme.txt file in "Troubleshooting/FAQ" section on how to uninstall:

 

 

* How do I uninstall SKSE?

- Delete the .dll and .exe files starting with skse_ from your Skyrim folder.

 

If you want to make sure for yourself, the readme.txt file will be in your Skyrim folder if you copied everything from the skse archive over. If you've deleted the readme file you can re-download it from the skse website, just look on the v1.7.2 line for "readme".

Last I checked, SkyUI is broken by the latest SKSE. I actually had to revert to an older SKSE to get it to work right. MCM menus require a working SkyUI as well as SKSE, so this might be your problem.

That may be the case for you, but not for myself and many other SKSE / SkyUI users.

That is a unique to you situation and does not hold true for everyone who uses current SKSE and SkyUI.

SKSE 1.7.3 or 1.7.2 or 1.7.1 (beta or otherwise) does no such thing at all.

Have been using every version and currently using 1.7.3 since it's release and not had a single SkyUI / MCM issue at all.

Does that mean I would have to uninstall SKSE? If so, how do I do that? I used Gopher's video to install and am not sure how to uninstall

 

No need to uninstall anything, just overwrite existing files.

Also included the relevant example information about old saves from 2 years ago.. etc

Also just too add if its still not working for you go back and repeat the steps to install the new SKSE again, it wont hurt anything. I was being lazy and haven't messed with it for awhile and was clicking skip instead of copy and replace when overwriting the old SKSE files with the new...noob mistake but like I said just reinstall the new SKSE again step by step.
