wendigo4700
I just completed motheship zeta DLC. Awesome DLC. But I got the feeling I rushed too much through it. So I want to take the time now, and approach it more slowly. But the issue is, how do I reset the DLC? I tryed "resetquest 05000802" but didnt worked. And my quicksave game, takes place afterwards. Are there any other possibilities?
bben46
Best way - just go back to the save just before you started paying the DLC.Other - go somewhere safe, make a new save, close the game - remove the DLC. Start the game - make a new save close the game, install the DLC, start the game. The first method has fewer problems
wendigo4700
I can't do first method. As my latest quicksave, takes places afterwards. And the other quicksaves, are way back early in my character progress.

I sincerely hope that you are not relying on only quick saves for this game. You didn't make a hard save before starting the DLC? You haven't made any hard saves? One of the hard and fast rules is to make a hard save before starting any of the DLCs. If you have a problem, you can always restart. You should also be making hard saves frequently during the game. Especially before attempting any of the hard challanges. Quick saves and auto saves get overwritten. Hard saves do not.
wendigo4700
yes, I only use quick saves. Will try and remember doing hard saves more often. Btw, I did this here: 1) Unchecked Zeta.esm from mod manager (which then further also wanted me to uncheck unofficial patch) 2) Loaded up the game, and saved it and closed down the game 3) Rechecked Zeta.esm and unofficial patch and loaded up the game 4) Zeta has now been reset But bben46, talked about problems. What kind of problems can this method do? EDIT: I made a copy of my savegame folder. So I can always revert back to before I did this trick. wendigo4700
So I can only assume there arent any problems, from doing the method I did in #5. I finally got to replay the DLC more slowly. And got to see many other parts of the ship. The method above, works great if you're stuck as I were.
bben46
The problems would be with other mods that relied on the DLC being there, and whether the DLC is finished, in progress or not yet started.
