Heavily modded Oblivion crashes before videos

Crashing before the game loads is usually caused by a missing master/dependency.

 

Not sure if you have a different version of Kvatch Rebuilt than I do, but mine has a Kvatch Rebuilt.esm (master). Make sure to check this, it would cause exactly the type of crash you are getting.

 

If you are still crashing after triple-checking everything, try dropping the Salmo the Baker Cobl.esp. Crashes the game for some of us, for whatever reason.

 

Have you run TES4LODGEN yet? Besides needing it to generate LOD files for all the structures the mods add, I have found it to be a decent diagnostic tool. It runs thru your entire load order, and is very good at catching errors like missing masters.

 

Edit - Make sure to rebuild your Bashed Patch everytime you make a change to your load order. Very important.

Problem might be somewhere else since it doesn't start even when i have only Oblivion.esm activated...

 

EDIT: Now it crashes in bethesda video with only Oblivion.esm

EDIT2: Now it crashes in Loading when it has moved tiny bit of the bar... With all mods

EDIT3: Works now.. Thanks

EDIT4: My character is too tall ... It's normal sized in first person as long as dont move mouse. Then its much taller... but only in first person.
