alan2
I simply painted different faces of the default cube with different flat colors but when I try to render this model, the rendered image does not show these colors and it is only grey scale image. How can I make blender to show these colors? Also when I switch back to Object or Edit mode from Vertex paint mode, the colors are gone and do not show in the displayed model in the 3d View. How can I make Blender to retail those colors when I switch to Edit or Object mode? Edited February 19, 2011 by alan2
LHammonds
Rendering has a LOT of factors that go into getting a good / working render...many of which have nothing to do with the end-result of exporting to NIF. But regardless, you need to make sure you add a material and then place a checkmark beside "Vertex Color Paint" in the Options for the material. Then it will render the material correctly. EDIT: As for editing, make sure your display method is "Textured" and not "Solid" which is the little icon to the right of the "Object Mode" dropdown.
