Perhaps sometime in the near future...

Is it legal to hijack your own thread? because i have a question

For some reason the game is EXTREMELY laggy on my computer...and its a fairly good computer and i have all the required requirements (lol)...any ideas?

Do you have all of the program settings in options at their default, or did you go in and set them all to maximum? I have a 1 Ghz PCwith a decent video and sound card, and it does get a little laggy when I set them all to max. Try shortening your view, I found that helps the most.

Also - if you've downloaded mods, some of them, even though they don't seem like they would, slow the machine down a great deal. There's one that adds tons of fish and butterflies and the like that adds thousands of creature creation points, and another where the head and hair graphics are dynamite, but the frame rate is slowed so much because of the detail it slows the entire game.

As Rynos said though, if you're just playing the original game, the best bet is to post your specs.

I tried to get his specs over MSN last night but he doesn't seem to know what they are. And the device manager doesn't give any clear indication either  I think he tried setting everything to minimum but it didn't make any difference...
