majikmonkee
Um, what? It crashes when you quit? As in the game closes when you try to close it? I'm not sure I understand the problem. 90% of the time when I try to quite the game, it freezes on exit, I just need to close it with ctrl+alt+del, but that's been happening since before I ever added any mods. Nightwolfhunter
Try this. is this similar to auto-quit? my game will crash every now adn then, but I don' know if Auto-quit does anything about that.
Thelios
Try this. is this similar to auto-quit? my game will crash every now adn then, but I don' know if Auto-quit does anything about that. I have found the Fast Exit 2 to work the best. It not only quits without crashing, but saves changes to your Oblivion.ini file. Changes like, screenshot count for example. I have used Fast Exit 2 for over a year and have not crashed on exit since. Streamlines fast exit would still crash occasionally.
Nightwolfhunter
I have fastExit 2 but it seems I never installed it. how do I do so?
Thelios
Well, Fast Exit 2 requires at least OBSE 16. If you have obse installed and working, it is just a matter of copying the FastExit2.dll to the Oblivion/Data/obse/plugins folder. If you have obse installed and there are no obse/plugins folders, just create them. The Fast Exit 2 download contains the correct install directory. To use it, just exit Oblivion through the normal exit game menus. Just make sure to save your game first. :)
