I ran Fo3EDIT and it doesnt seem to find any errors, I also tried using the exact load orders from LOOT and BOSS, they still dont work. Please help! Here is my load order, if there is any additional info you need let me know. I appreciate all the help guys, man this stuff is complicated and confusing!P.S. I've kind of been adding mods in as I play the game, it was okay up to this point.yeah i've done this several times before, it will fail at some point though. As soon as I launch the game from Fallout Mod Manager, black screen will come up as if its loading the game, then immediately crash. And does the game start without any mods active? And I suspect the EWE mod might be the culprit here, since it still relies on a very old version of EVE. I'd recommend uninstalling it. But, I still am getting crashes with my level 2 character -- and I'm using a 'slow leveling mod' and its taken a week to get to level 2 so not really wanting to restart the game.My short load order is below, and if you can take a look I'd appreciate any guidance! I started getting crashes near the sewer kind of close to the wasteland merchant on a bridge somewhat close to Megaton, actually the point where the raider hangs out by a car just north of the Car Dealership near Megaton.If I go past there and the cell loads that has that wasteland merchant on a bridge, if I try saving after going there the game crashes, even if I walk to another cell, like Megaton -- when I enter the Interior Cell it CTDs. I systematically unchecked a single mod, ran the game, went to that location, and tried a save game. If it crashed I rechecked that mod, then unchecked the one above it and tried again. I repeated this until I found the mod causing the crash: CustomBeginning.esp This mod is an Alternate Start mod like we see in FWE but it has some other features I prefer over FWE so giving this one a shot. If I was to uncheck the mod and save, then recheck the mod and continue, the character's Alt Start Perk ("Engineer," similar to FWE's "The Mechanist" start) would be gone and I'm afraid that means bots would be attacking me which would break the role-playing I'm doing for this character.
