Nightwolfhunter
The title pretty much says it all. I am new to manual installs. I use OBMM normally, but since apparently race mods are weird, OBMM won't like it. so either help me understand how to properly install the race, or a place where I can eqasily understand how to make the race into an OMOD. the Wolven Anthros mod is here http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=32821 Also, I could use help understanding how to do the beauty packs. Those are things I never did either, so I don't understand how a manual or OBMM install there works. thanks again for helping me out.

BackAtTheRanch
I'm guessing that by installing with obmm you mean using an .omod? OBMM should be fine for race mods and beauty mods, omod or not. I haven't installed wolven anthros myself but i'm fairly sure what you will find in the extracted folder you downloaded is most likely an .esp and meshes, textures, sound etc folders? If that IS the case, then you can do one of two things; manually install or create an .omod To manually install it, just copy the aforementioned contents of the wolven anthros folder to the Data folder inside the Oblivion install folder (in program files under bethesda softworks). you should then be asked about merging the meshes and textures folders (sound too if there are any), to which you click yes. once this is done, you can run obmm, and on your plugin list on the left, there should now be one or several .esps from the mod. Tick these as appropriate, and play the game. Creating an .omod would require clicking the create button at the bottom left of obmm, and then selecting add folder, and finding the extracted folder for wolven anthros that you downloaded. once this has been added, just fill in some of the details at the top and click create omod. It should then compress (might take a while) and once it is done it will appear on the mod list on the left along with all your other omods. This is general for most mods, so may not apply EXACTLY to wolven anthros... there may be various choices to make which will require you manipulating the files initially before copying/adding to omod. I expect a readme will be included in the mod which will more accurately tell you how to install, so i would check there. Hope this helps.... ScarletSkye
im having the same problem with this mod. the wolven mod has 3 folders, version 3, version 4 beta and some invisibility fix. the readme says to extract each one to the oblivion data folder, but when I tryed that it dident work =T
