Argol
I installed all the necessary stuff to allow Nif import/export for Blender 2.5. but it gave me no option to import NIfs, I searched the add on section and even tried selecting the scripts through it;s own install option. I then installed everything for 2.49, when ever I select import it says the Nif script can not be found. Finally I downloaded the bundle from the nexus, installed them all on my portable, clicked import, Selected the type 3 berry mesh from fallout 3 and it crashes. in fact it has crashed for every nif I try to import. I have never had so much trouble with a program. Does anyone have any idea what may be wrong? Edit: Ok it doesn't crash anymore, instead it just tells me there is a Python script error Edit: I fixed it up using the Environment Variables. LHammonds
Glad you got it working. The necessary plugins (PyFFI and Blender NIF Scripts) are designed only to work with Blender 2.4x. The developers said they are not going to create 2.5-compatible versions until Blender 2.5 is finalized and stable since things are changing so much in the BETA.
